The Twenty-Seven Club
Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix. All extremely talented musicians whose lives were cut short at the young age of 27. This photo series focuses on how the tragic loss of these young talents is still quite prevalent today. The ink tears streaming down their faces show the sadness that is still very real, even for the youngest generations.
I’ll be 27 this year and it has been a tremendous series of struggle and rebirth and more struggle. I haven’t made quite the impact on the world that I’d planned for but I hope to make it past 27 to find out if I can change that.

I kind of understand this, but I don’t want anyone touching my hair, especially without consent. Need to ruminate more on the subject.
